“Four Day Laugavegur Trail Hike with Trek Guided by Magdalena Nowak”Spent 4 wonderful nights and 5 days hiking with Trek. They made it especially easy to arrange and answered promptly my many emails. Iceland is so easy to travel to and we stayed close by the meeting point in Reykjavik. We met up with our guide Maggie, and an amazing trip followed. We happened to be a group of 17 unknown to each other who with Maggie's help quickly grew into a family. The scenery was amazing and the friendships life-enhancing. Maggie was not only an expert guide, but a wonderful cook. Each hut had its unique characteristics and many a nights were spent playing cards, spoons, and charades of sorts. Our group was from all over the world but we found common ground in our love of the hike. Trek and Maggie, could not have made it easier and more enjoyable. Footnote: bring rain gear it will rain it will sun and it will be warm and cold also I hiked the 30+ miles pre partial knee replacement (which I have since had) and used a brace and hiking poles, If I can do it YOU can do it, don't pass up this bucket list. “Six day hike along The Laugavegur Trail with Trek Iceland.” guided by Magdalena (Maggie) Nowak”This was an amazing hike. I've done similar trips in New Zealand (Routeburn and Milford), Machu Piccu, Kilimanjaro, etc and this the best. Booking with Trek was easy and efficient providing us with all the information we needed. Our actual guide "Maggie" was amazing, fun to be with, informative, hard working, safety conscious and looking for ways to make the trip fun and memorable. She would hike all day, take care of her guest then lead our groups efforts in the kitchen to whip up an amazing meal. We had a great group of people from all over the world in our group, and Maggie helped bring us all together to make the experience that much better. I would do this hike again in an instant and only wish we'd had more time together. Eric Woodson Dallas, Texas
